In his final season at the NAIA level, the Sylmar, California native led all of NCAA Division II in scoring average at 27.9 points per game and was named D2CCA First Team All-American, including a 51-point performance against Point Loma Nazarene. McIntyre said he chose USD over higher-dollar offers because the fit felt right, and he has rewarded that commitment by shooting 53.0 percent from the floor in his first Division I season.
