Brock Wisne is a 6-foot-9 forward from Thornton, Colorado who has remained loyal to Northern Colorado throughout his entire college career, signing with the Bears in November 2021. A product of Horizon High School and Colorado Prep, he was the No. 2 rated recruit in Colorado and chose UNC over Cleveland State. Wisne developed steadily before becoming UNC's most complete offensive threat, surpassing 1,000 career points during the 2025-26 season. In 2024-25 he started all 35 games and averaged 10.4 points and 4.3 rebounds as the Bears reached the Big Sky Conference championship game. Head coach Steve Smiley considers him the best frontcourt player in the Big Sky. Wisne has also drawn attention as a 2026 NBA Draft prospect, making him one of the most decorated players in program history.
