Chandler Pigge is a senior guard and one of Harvard's most reliable scorers at 12.9 points per game. He is a disruptive defender, averaging 1.6 steals per game. He has started all 24 games this season.
Chandler Piggé's path to Harvard is unlike most. Born in Houston, he spent his first 13 years living on military bases in Japan and Germany, where his father served as a Department of Defense teacher and high school basketball coach and his mother worked as an Army education counselor. Piggé played alongside his father's teams for years before the family settled back in the United States. With no Division I offers coming out of high school, he enrolled at Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire for a postgraduate year, where his fundamentals and work ethic caught the attention of Harvard coach Tommy Amaker. Now a senior captain, Piggé has become one of the Ivy League's most complete players — earning Honorable Mention All-Ivy honors last season while leading Harvard in minutes, rebounds, and steals per game. He is also a psychology concentrator with aspirations in sports psychology after graduation.
