On the Nike EYBL Scholastic circuit with PSA Cardinals, he averaged 16.7 points and shot 40.5 percent from three as a junior. Rivals ranked him No. 15 nationally in 2025; he was also selected for the Jordan Brand Classic. Adams chose Maryland as Buzz Williams' first true freshman recruit for the new era, signing in May 2025.
