After spending two years at Salt Lake Community College — where he ranked fifth nationally with a 70.1 percent field goal percentage in 2022-23 — Koroma moved to UT-Arlington for the 2023-24 season, shooting 66.7 percent from the floor in a reserve role. His breakout came at Le Moyne in 2024-25, where he started all 30 games and averaged 11.5 points and a team-high 7.2 rebounds while shooting an extraordinary 71.4 percent from the field. That performance earned him a final-year opportunity with the Huskies.
