Gicarri Harris is a sophomore guard who provides scoring punch off the bench, averaging 5.2 points in 16.8 minutes per game. He takes care of the ball with just 0.3 turnovers per game.
Gicarri Harris arrived at Purdue with a basketball pedigree few can match. The son of Glenn Robinson, who won the 1994 National Player of the Year award at Purdue, Harris was a four-star, top-100 national recruit out of Grayson High School in Loganville, Georgia. He became the school's all-time career leading scorer and led Grayson to its first state championship as a senior, finishing with a 30-2 record while averaging 17.6 points, 6.2 assists, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.5 steals. He was named first-team All-State and earned On3 MVP honors at the Chick-Fil-A Classic after posting 26 points and 11 rebounds in the title game. Harris chose Purdue over Georgia Tech, LSU, Stanford, and Virginia Tech. As a freshman in 2024-25, he started the first five games before head coach Matt Painter shifted him to a bench role, where the coaching staff felt the Atlanta native could make the greatest impact.
