Greyson Uelmen is a freshman guard who leads North Dakota in scoring at 16.1 points per game this season.
Greyson Uelmen's story is one of the best in the Summit League this season. A walk-on commitment from Excelsior, Minnesota, the 6'2" guard led Minnetonka High School to the 2024 Minnesota 4A state championship—the program's first since 2008—averaging 20 points per game while shooting .569 from the floor and .500 from three. Head coach Paul Sather never promised a scholarship during recruiting, and Uelmen redshirted in 2024–25 to earn his spot. In his redshirt freshman season he is UND's leading scorer at 16.1 points per game, earning Summit League Player of the Week honors after a 30-point outing at Denver—the first 30-point game by a UND freshman since 2010–11. He has started 27 of 28 games.
