Jaden Kempson arrived at UAlbany with a two-year body of work from one of the NJCAA's most successful programs. The Bronx, New York native spent two seasons at Midland Community College in Texas, where he led the team to back-to-back 20-win seasons and earned WJCAC All-Conference honors while averaging 14.2 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists on 47.9 percent shooting. At UAlbany, Kempson has continued that production: the 6-3 guard was named America East Player of the Week in December 2025 after averaging 24.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists against Yale and Florida Atlantic, and was also recognized by the NJCAA Twitter account as a conference honoree. Kempson has started 18 of 21 games and averages 10.7 points this season.
