26 games played
John Bol is a sophomore center who has been a key part of UCF's rotation, averaging 5.5 points in 26 games. He is one of the most efficient scorers in the B12, converting 73.8% of his shots. He does his damage in the paint, not from the perimeter. He has started all 26 games for a UCF squad ranked 46th in the NET.
Bol didn't pick up a basketball until 2021, teaching himself the game via YouTube after growing up in Boma, South Sudan and spending time in Kenya before moving to the United States at age 16. Within a year, he drew coaches' attention and became a McDonald's All-American — the first player with that honor to suit up for UCF. Ranked as high as No. 54 nationally in the 2024 class by ESPN and On3, the 7-2 center spent his freshman season at Ole Miss, appearing in 17 games before transferring to UCF.
