KJ Perry signed with BYU as the No. 1 junior college recruit in the country. The 6-3 guard played one season at Citrus College near Los Angeles, where he averaged 17.5 points, 2.8 assists, and 2.5 rebounds per game while shooting 49.5 percent from the field. Perry chose BYU over offers from Kansas, Oregon, TCU, SMU, NC State, Cincinnati, Cal, and Arizona State. He joined the program when the winter semester began and is redshirting the 2025-26 season, with three years of eligibility remaining beginning in 2026-27.
