Kwo Agwa is a senior forward who provides scoring punch off the bench, averaging 3.4 points in 10.4 minutes per game. He is one of the most efficient scorers in the SLC, converting 62.5% of his shots. He takes care of the ball with just 0.6 turnovers per game.
Kwo Agwa grew up in Calgary, Alberta, and attended Kearns High School before embarking on a well-traveled college path through the State College of Florida, Howard College — where he averaged 12.7 points and 6.9 rebounds per game — and Texas A&M-Commerce, where he led the team with 32 blocks in one season while shooting 53.7 percent from the floor. UTRGV head coach Kahil Fennell brought him in for the 2024-25 season, and Agwa responded by posting a career-high 23 points in a single game and averaging 6.2 points and 4.3 rebounds across 30 appearances. He earned CSC Academic All-District Team honors and returned for his graduate year as one of only four returners, taking on a leadership role for a rebuilt Vaqueros roster.
