London Johnson took one of the more unusual routes to Louisville. The former four-star prospect from Norcross, Georgia, bypassed college out of high school in 2022 to join the NBA G League Ignite, where he spent three seasons and averaged 8.3 points and 3.4 assists per game, peaking at 10.6 points and 5.1 assists in 2023-24. After the NCAA cleared him to play college basketball following his G League tenure, Johnson committed to Louisville and enrolled at the semester break. Coach Pat Kelsey has opted to redshirt Johnson for the 2025-26 season, preserving two full years of eligibility for the 6-3 guard.
