Tyne chose Richmond over Drake and Western Kentucky as the 10th-ranked recruit from Maryland in the Class of 2023, appearing in all 33 games as a freshman and starting all 32 games in his sophomore year, when he averaged 9.3 points per game and became one of only seven Spiders in program history to start every game in a season.
