Badibanga is a freshman forward from Toulouse, France, who came to Santa Clara from Elan Sportif Chalon, one of France's top youth basketball programs. He played over three years in the French U21 League, averaging 13.1 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 25 minutes per game during his final season. In February 2024, he was selected to participate in the NBA Basketball Without Borders Camp during NBA All-Star Weekend, which assembles the top U18 international prospects. He is the second Frenchman to sign with Santa Clara in recent years.
