Jones transferred to Northern Illinois for the 2024-25 season and had a breakout year, finishing third in the MAC in scoring at 16.6 points per game. He scored 20-plus points 11 times, including a career-high 28 at Akron. The 6-foot-5 guard signed with Saint Louis in April 2025 with two years of eligibility remaining, adding another dynamic scoring option to the Billikens' backcourt.
