Schulte developed through Germany's club system, winning back-to-back NBBL Championship titles with Alba Berlin in 2021-22 and 2022-23, before competing in ProB — Germany's third division — with Lokomotive Bernau. He also represented the German national team, averaging 8.1 points and 5.9 rebounds at the 2022 FIBA U18 European Championship. After joining coach Mike Magpayo's staff at UC Riverside, Schulte appeared in 33 of 34 games as a sophomore before following Magpayo to Fordham. He has been one of the Rams' most consistent players this season, averaging 10.4 points and a team-leading 9.0 rebounds per game.
