In his sophomore season Sabol continued to develop, and heading into his junior campaign he has emerged as one of the MAC's top offensive threats, averaging 17.9 points per game. In late December he earned MAC Player of the Week honors after scorching Penn State Behrend for 31 points on 12-of-14 shooting, and he has since surpassed 900 career points to become the 36th player in Buffalo program history to reach that milestone.
