Scottie Ebube brought a reliable interior presence and an elite finishing touch to NC State after stops at two previous programs. A two-time All-State and three-time All-Area selection at Mundelein High School in Mundelein, Illinois, Ebube began his college career at Southern Illinois, where he redshirted his true freshman year before becoming a rotational contributor. As a redshirt sophomore, he appeared in 31 games for the Salukis, averaging 6.0 points and 3.6 rebounds while shooting 69.0 percent from the field. He transferred to Wyoming for the 2024-25 season, playing in 23 games and averaging 5.0 points and 2.7 rebounds while maintaining his trademark efficiency at 67.6 percent from the field. Ebube has shot above 60 percent from the field in every collegiate season, establishing himself as one of the most efficient finishers at the rim in mid-major basketball. He signed with Will Wade at NC State for his final season of eligibility, adding much-needed size and physicality to the Wolfpack frontcourt.
