Brandon McCoy Jr. is a 6-5 shooting guard with a 6-10 wingspan from Sierra Canyon in Chatsworth, California, who has been ranked as high as No. 1 overall in the 2026 class by 247Sports and No. 2 by On3. A three-time USA Basketball gold medalist at the FIBA Americas U16, FIBA U17 World Cup, and FIBA U19 World Cup, he was named Best Defensive Player at the 2024 U17 World Cup. McCoy was named MaxPreps National Sophomore of the Year in 2024 and is a 2026 McDonald's All-American. Originally from Oakland, California, he transferred from St. John Bosco to Sierra Canyon for his senior year. As of late March 2026, he remains one of the few uncommitted five-star prospects, with Alabama, Arkansas, Michigan, and Miami as his final four.
