Bryson Howard is a 6-4 shooting guard from Heritage High School in Frisco, Texas, and the son of former NBA All-Star Josh Howard, who was the 2003 ACC Player of the Year at Wake Forest and played 10 seasons in the NBA with Dallas and other teams. Howard entered the summer of 2025 completely unranked without a single high-major offer, then exploded onto the national scene during the grassroots circuit to become one of the biggest stock risers in the 2026 class. At the Nike Peach Jam with ProSkills, he averaged 16.3 points and 6 rebounds, while posting 17.1 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 4.3 assists during his junior high school season. A McDonald's All-American who carries a 4.0 GPA, Howard committed to Duke on October 21, 2025, becoming the first commitment in coach Jon Scheyer's 2026 class.
