Jacob Lanier is a 6-5 shooting guard from Parkview Magnet in Little Rock, Arkansas, who also spent time at DME Academy in Florida, helping win the 2025 Sunshine Independent Athletic Association title. On the UAA circuit with Gulf Coast Blue Chips, he averaged 17.4 points and earned first-team honors, and was named MVP of the 2024 Pangos All-American Camp Top 30 game. Lanier committed to Nebraska, choosing the Huskers over TCU and Ole Miss.
