Jaxon Richardson is a 6-6 small forward from Southeastern Prep in Orlando, Florida, the son of two-time NBA Slam Dunk Contest champion Jason Richardson and younger brother of Jase Richardson, the No. 25 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft by the Orlando Magic. Playing for the Florida Rebels on the Nike EYBL circuit, Richardson is considered perhaps the most explosive leaper in high school basketball. He won the 2026 McDonald's All-American Dunk Contest with what was described as an insane aerial display. After winning the Chipotle Nationals with Southeastern Prep, he committed to Alabama on March 5, 2026, choosing the Crimson Tide over Creighton, Ole Miss, and USC.
