Vaughn Karvala is a 6-6 small forward originally from Oregon, Wisconsin, who transferred to Bella Vista Prep in Scottsdale, Arizona, for his senior year. As a junior at Oregon High School, he averaged 26.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 3.8 assists while shooting 42 percent from three. On the Nike EYBL circuit with Team Herro, he averaged 14.7 points. Described as a "highlight reel waiting to happen" by Indiana insiders, Karvala committed to Indiana on November 1, 2025, under first-year coach Darian DeVries.
